sample parent newsletters graphicParent newsletters

Parents are a prime audience that school districts need to reach regularly in order to do a better job of educating children. Many principals send home parent newsletters, but often they are time-consuming to produce and not always effective.

In an effort to help school districts with this all-important communication task, our service has developed a series of parent newsletters that feature a strong "generic" feature story on page one and back page copy tailored to the information needs of each participating school. The generic portion of these newsletters typically provides parents with information on how to help their children succeed in school. The rest of the newsletter often includes feature stories on school programs, schedules of events, parent reminders, etc.

These newsletters have been extremely popular with parents, because they are very practical and hit home on issues of greatest concern. The newsletters are also popular with teachers and administrators because they don't take as much of their time to write and are quite inexpensive to produce.

For more on each of the parent newsletters, click on the grade-level selections in the box to the right.
