School News Notifier (SNN) is an opt-in e-mail alert system that allows parents and community members to voluntarily sign up to receive e-mail alerts from their child’s school or the district. Through a Web-based interface, district staff have the power to "push out" important information and updates, last-minute reminders and emergency information to their public. Users can choose to receive any or all of the alerts, and they can unsubscribe at any time.

By subscribing to this service, districts are able to customize the alerts they offer and benefit from ongoing technical upgrades designed to make this communication tool state-of-the-art.
