This service is for districts that do not already subscribe to the Communications Service, offering them "in-the-moment" consultation on how best to communicate about difficult situations as they arise. School districts face many difficult situations that require effective communications. In some cases, it may involve a district decision that is met with opposition from staff or parents; in others, it may involve criminal allegations or a safety concern that could directly or indirectly affect student welfare. Our staff of communications experts will work with the appropriate school personnel to develop ongoing, proactive communication strategies aimed at building credibility and strengthening the district’s relationship with its publics. Districts can benefit from our staff’s two decades of experience in assisting with communications ranging from the Columbia High School shooting to damaging state audit results and child sexual abuse in an educational setting.
